Our seven month run in the U.S. is about completed.  In days, we are leaving for South America. Arriving about the beginning of Inti Raymi.  Our favorite space in time.  The classic of all classics in the Andean history of humans & relevant ceremony for all humanity.  Healing the planet together!
Last week we flew from SLC to Richmond(buddy passes).  Stayed with Jule, Ben, Gryphon, Phoenix & Jule's parents in Roanoke for a week.  Great visit, great!  Phoenix was so perfect.  Camped in the backyard in our tent.  Visited the area & helped Ben put up a chicken coop for the five chickens he's getting.
Missed a personal airplane ride back to Atlanta(my misunderstanding of the day he was arriving) from Doug.  Jule gave us a ride to Greenboro, NC.  Each extra day in Roanoke was wonderful.  Everything worked as it was intended for our trip by Greyhound the following day.  Crashed in the bus station for the night(just like S. America style) & arrived early afternoon in Atlanta.
Been in Avondale bliss with the Harman clan.  Having a great, meditative time.  The community pool the center of the wheel in Avondale.  Families, friends weaving a tight net of activities, conversation & continual social events.  We had a much needed trip to Doug's work to film important airplane scenes for Searching South America.  I am getting closer to having this project in the can.  We have an important Ayhuasca scene to shoot with Calixto when we return to the Amazon this summer.  The editing of Sendero de Vida will take top priority with Searching South America next on the list.  I should have this film completed by spring 2015.
Will be headed to Charlotte Tuesday to catch a flight to NY to Bogota.  Buddy passes from our brother Ben, so time is irrelevant like Ayahuasca knowledge. In airports, on benches, floating, waiting for the next flight & hoping we're boarding the airplane to travel.  Just be.  Bogota arrival.  Bogota airport taxi to bus station.  Quickly, bus to Cali.  Stay a night, clean up & final bus to border.  We each have a backpack we check at 50lbs(amount allowed without fee).  Each of us also have a carry on bag at capacity size.  A friend donated a large suitcase we've packed with goods for the Indigenous(thanks everyone for the precious cargo).  Packed at 90lbs plus.  We have to pay extra.  Although, in SLC the attendant waived the fees for us.
In all, over 24 hours by bus to Ecuador.  Otavalo is two hours further.  Truck taxi to our home on the hill.  Amazing, classic run in the states...
Eager to be back in the normal and out of the lands of entitlement.
